| THE FAITHFUL DEPARTED
|
Into your hands, O Lord,
we humbly entrust our brothers and sisters in faith.
In this life you embraced them with your tender love;
deliver them now from every evil
and bid them enter eternal rest.
The old order has passed away:
Welcome them then into paradise,
where there will be no sorrow,
no weeping nor pain,
but the fullness of peace and joy
with your Son and the Holy Spirit
for ever and ever.
MAY THEIR SOULS AND THE SOULS OF ALL THE FAITHFUL DEPARTED REST IN PEACE.

We would like to encourage the use of this valuable parish resource to assist parishioners to deepen their knowledge of our faith and to support growth in their spiritual and prayer life. It is now located in the bookcase at the back of the church near the sacristy.
If anyone would be interested to act as a Co-ordinator for this resource this would be greatly welcomed.

| CHARITABLE WORKS FUND
|
|
This collection by envelope, provides diocesan services for people, particularly in the areas of Social Welfare, Family Support & Counselling. Pre Marriage Courses & Marriage Tribunal Work are also financed in this manner. Every parish is allocated an amount to contribute each collection, ours is approx. $9,000. In the past, because of your generosity, this target has almost always been reached. This weekend the envelopes will be available on the seats. Please take one and consider prayerfully what you might be able to donate. The amount is 100% tax deductible.

| PROJECT RACHEL
|
|
"I would like to say a word to women who have had an abortion. The wound in your heart may not yet have healed…..do not lose hope." John Paul II
Without doubt, abortion is one of the most traumatic experiences a person can have. Both before and after abortion, feelings of fear, anxiety, guilt, panic and pressure are common - not only for the woman who undergoes the abortion but also for the father of the unborn child, relatives, close friends and even medical personnel.
Project Rachel provides an opportunity to encounter the healing grace of God and to move forward in a caring and hope-filled atmosphere toward reconciliation with self, the unborn child and God.
For an understanding ear, call 9440 7980 and leave a message on our confidential voice mail and begin the journey towards peace & wholeness.
